| This part of the Pyrenees is perfect for snowkiting being on a plateau
at 1600m rising up from the coastal plain around Perpignan. The peaks
around the plateau go up to 3000m so the snow is guaranteed during
the winter months. Snow kiting is a common sight on the mountain tops
at Les Angles, and the airfield at La LLagonne. There is so much scope
for this growing sport. Les Angles hosts several snowkite events this
year. |
