Winter Season

Out of school holidays there are rarely any queues allowing fantastic skiing for first time skiers, the more advanced and also great for families too. There is more than one ski school to choose from offering tuition in english, french and spanish, ESF and ESI.

This magical, unspoilt, ski area high in the Capcir and Cerdagne valleys offers over 280 kms of well groomed pistes with a good ratio of greens, blues, reds and blacks.
We have a high percentage of pistes covered by snow cannons to ensure the best conditions.

Snowparks are at most resorts supporting half pipes, jumps and rails, all very reasonably priced too.

Formigueres and another 8 ski resorts are covered by just one ski pass, the "Neiges Catalanes" offering some serious skiing.

Other activities to try include a trip to Villefranche on the mountain railway, a visit to the Pyrenean animal park, ice skating, bowling, a relaxing day at thermal pools, enjoy a massage and spa treatments, husky sledding or perhaps a tandem parapent. For the shoppers, Andorra is just 70 kms away!

We offer a selection of short break ski packages and week long holidays from self catering, b+b or half board.


Our winter weeks catered ski package includes:

Inclusive transfers from Perpignan airport by private minibus.

A bubbly reception, wholesome breakfasts, afternoon teas with homemade cakes, delicious evening meals served with fine local wine, soft drinks available.
( 1 night dining out at your own expense).

Coffee and tea are available from breakfast until after dinner.

Use of dvds, english tv, ps 2, stereo, guest drinks fridge.

Fresh bed linen and a change of towels, hairdryers.

Use of the Boot heater and ski / board store.

We offer help in organising lift passes, ski hire, lessons and other activities.

In addition to Formigueres ski slopes, we offer a daily pre arranged trip to other local slopes.
